Alexa Hampton Fabrics are the epitome of metropolitan fashion. The story of this line originates in another design firm, Mark Hampton LLC, which started in 1976. After Mark Hampton’s death in 1998, his daughter, Alex Hampton, took over the company. Two years later, she launched her line of fabrics under the name Alexa Hampton Fabrics. Alexa Hampton has her roots in New York and the metropolitan inspiration is reflected throughout her gorgeous fabric line. This collection brings out a fresh, modern feel through the use of neutral tones and simple patterns. You will see a variety of geometric and organic shape prints as well as solid, textured looks. Alexa Hampton uses mostly monochromatic color schemes to focus on the elegance of simplicity, though you will also see a few fabrics with 2-3 colors mixed in. Who Is Alexa Hampton?

Alexa Hampton is a New York based interior designer who took over her father’s company, Mark Hampton LLC, in 1998. In the current day, she produces a variety of fabrics and other home furnishings. She received an undergraduate degree with honors from Brown University before completing her graduate studies at New York University's The Institute of Fine Arts. In addition, she also holds honorary doctorate degrees from Moore College of Art & Design and the New York School of Interior Design. She has since received a number of awards and acknowledgements, made appearances in various lifestyle media, and written several publications. The Alexa Hampton Fabrics line continues the long legacy of top quality interior design established by her father in the mid-70’s.
