The Legend of Jim Thompson Fabric: Jim Thompson Fabrics is founded by Jim Thompson in Bangkok. Tinnart Nisalak works as design director for the Thai Silk Company of Jim Thompson, having worked with Thai Silk Company for more than two decades. With his knowledge and experience in working with silk, he is able to produce subtle, innovative, and sensuous creations, propelling Thai silk into the international scene. Richard Smith of Jim Thompson Fabric counts on his more than 16 years experience in fabric design; producing rich, traditional textiles using a method that combines traditional drawing and painting. Richard Smith is the designer behind the No.9 Thompson collection of printed fabrics and weaves. Kingston University educated Ou Baholyodhin is one of the most versatile designers, producing collections that range from furniture and fabrics to accessories and ceramics. Ed Tuttle, one of the famous architects in America, has worked for a range of illustrious clients and projects, including Park Hyatt hotels, Inter Continental, Sheraton, and several others.
