Who Is Jaclyn Smith?

Jaclyn Smith’s story begins in Texas, where she began dancing at the age of three. She studied drama at Trinity University and proceeded to New York to pursue a lifelong dream of a dance career. She worked with a talent agent that was able to get her involved in film and TV. She released a signature fragrance, Jaclyn Smith’s California, in 1985. Around the same time, she began a fashion design career through a partnership with Kmart. Smith received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1989. Jaclyn has since branched out into home décor and this design career has led to the Jaclyn Smith Fabrics you see now. Even still today, Jaclyn Smith is still a household name in both film and design. She has received many accolades and continues to produce gorgeous fabric designs that let people bring the life of stardom into their own home.
