The Journey of a talented interior designer: Campbell recognized her interest in interior design beginning the age of twelve. Having a multi-ethnic family - with a Viennese mother and a Scottish father - exposed Campbell to luxury and art from the very beginning. Before she was even twenty, she has worked with John Fowler of Colefax and Fowler, turning her passion into a lifetime career. In 1974 she established her company and in 2009 launched a furniture line. Due to her cosmopolitan background, the predominant style of her brand reflects a kind of easy going luxury. Having worked at Colefax and Fowler, the designer learned how to give each interior its own breathing space and an inimitable personality. She is known to mix the traditional with the contemporary freely, such as pairing antique furniture pieces with contemporary textiles.
